The ProsKit SS-979B combines a powerful 700W hot-air system with a 60W temperature-controlled soldering iron, making it ideal for SMD removal, component replacement, circuit-board repair and general electronics maintenance. Independent switches and LED displays provide convenient control of each function, while microprocessor-controlled temperature regulation supports consistent, reliable operation. The hot-air handle automatically enters cool-down and standby modes when returned to its holder, helping conserve energy and extend heating-element life. Adjustable airflow, selectable Celsius or Fahrenheit display, temperature calibration and three interchangeable nozzles give technicians the flexibility needed for everything from precision rework to preheating and heat-shrink applications.
