1. Introduction
Welcome to GD Technologies ("we," "us," or "our"), a South African-based ICT, electronics, and gadgets e-commerce website. We are committed to deliver all orders in a specific scope of time. This Shipping Policy explains how we process orders either for collection or delivery
The following are our shipping, and collection guidelines:
Please note this is an online store, our stock come from our branches as well as our supplier warehouses. Processing times differs with products origin. Stock available means we have stock in hand(in the shop) or in our warehouse. In the case of the stock available in the warehouse this implies that we can obtain/collect stock within the processing time.
a. Collections: Processing time for collection is 24hous to 48hours. Please wait for confirmation message before you reach out to any of our branches. Please specify which branch you would like to collect from. Some products attracts more processing time and some products or delivery only products. If you wish to collect any product, please confirm with the branch you wish to collect from, if the product can be collected from that branch.
b. Delivery: We use a courier company for all our deliveries subject to a few exceptions. Please note delivery may take 1day to 2 working days in Gauteng and surrounding provinces after processing. Other provinces may take 2 to 4 working days. Once order is fulfilled, please note it will be in the hands of the courier companies. We may not be held liable for the courier delays or failed deliveries. Fail deliveries might be returned to our branch of origin.
c. Shipping cost: A standard shipping fee of R103.50 is charged for every order. A free shipping is offered to customers who spends more than R5000.00 on a standard order. Please note standard shipping and and free shipping does not apply to over sized parcels like poles, Standing cabinets, office furniture etc. Please note additional shipping charges may apply on oversized orders even after the order has been placed. Additional charges will be applied to all returned fail delivery orders.
NB: Please take note that additional shipping fee may apply in certain address. In this regard, we are bound by the terms and conditions of our courier company. According to our courier company, additional shipping fee is charged on the delivery address that are regarded as dangerous and or risk zone/area. Upon booking your item for shipping it would automatically reflect on our system then we will advise you of the actual delivery fee in your address.
d. Processing: As much as we strive to process all orders on the purchase date, but orders placed after 14:00pm may be processed on the following day. Some orders may take 2 to 4 working days to process as some of our stock will be coming for outside the provinces. Please note orders marked restocking soon may take up to 8 weeks to process. Please note that we use different sale channels and different sources of stock, hence processing time may delay but suppliers stock taking or suppliers events.
e. Changes to this Shipping Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Shipping Policy on our website, and the revised policy will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our website after the posting of the updated Shipping Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
