The PATCHBOX /dev/mount 2-Pack provides a faster, safer alternative to conventional cage nuts when installing standard 1U equipment in compatible 19" racks. Each mount clips directly into square-punched rack rails and holds the equipment in position before fastening, helping simplify alignment and reduce strain during installation. The four included dual-sided reversible hex nuts are designed to be tightened securely by hand, eliminating the need for installation tools. Rounded edges provide safer handling than traditional cage nuts, while the stainless-steel and aluminium construction supports reliable use in professional server rooms, network installations and data centres. Two /dev/mount clips provide the hardware required to install one standard 1U device. The manufacturer rates the mounting system to withstand loads of up to 200kg or 2,000N when correctly installed in suitable rack rails.
