The ProsKit CP-470 Front-Entry Self-Adjusting Ferrule Crimper is designed for terminating insulated and non-insulated wire ferrules across a broad range of conductor sizes. Its vertical front-entry crimping port improves access in confined or angle-restricted areas, including distribution boxes, control panels and wiring points positioned near skirting boards. A selector dial switches between the 0.08~10mm² range and dedicated 16mm² setting, while the self-adjusting mechanism adapts to the inserted ferrule within the selected range. Multi-layer hardened steel dies apply synchronised compression to produce a uniform square crimp profile, supporting consistent terminal formation. The ratcheting mechanism provides controlled crimping action, making the CP-470 suitable for electrical installation, panel wiring, equipment assembly and maintenance applications.
