Siklu has recently unveiled their 3rd generation point to multipoint 60GHz products, which include the MultiHaul TG system. This system has received Terragraph certification and is designed to operate through Nodes utilizing millimeter waves in a redundant mesh topology, allowing for connections to Terminal Units (TU). The T280, a long-range TG TU, is also part of this network solution and is compatible with the N366 in PtMP mode to serve locations at further distances. Additionally, the T280 can operate in PtP mode, with two identical units on each site, enabling even longer distances to be covered. With up to 3 ports, both copper and fibre interfaces, and a PoE out to power any third-party device, the T280 offers flexibility and functionality.
Long Distance and High Capacity
The T280 offers unique deployment possibilities for 60GHz radios due to its impressive Terragraph link capacity. With a selection of 0.5ft, 1ft, or 2ft antennas available, it allows for choosing the ideal solution for long distance links that may present challenges. Furthermore, its compact streamlined reflector antenna makes it easy to install on rooftop or street furniture.
Flexibility for Demanding Applications
The MultiHaul TG LR Terminal Units function over the millimetre wave spectrum, using a variety of reflector antennas. This provides a number of benefits, such as the ability to achieve multi-gigabit capacity in crowded environments. The Terminal Units are equipped with three ports, allowing for RJ-45 connections up to 5GE or fibre connections up to 10Gbps, enabling the delivery of a wide range of services and interfaces to accommodate even the most demanding applications.
