A Solid Foundation for Your Next-Gen Build
The MSI B860M GAMING PLUS WIFI6E is a Micro-ATX motherboard built around the LGA1851 socket and Intel B860 chipset, designed for gamers and builders who want to pair the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors with modern connectivity and storage. Whether you're assembling a new rig from scratch or upgrading an existing system, this board gives you the platform to do it without compromise, backed by MSI's engineering pedigree and a 36-month warranty.
Power That Doesn't Quit
Tired of motherboards that throttle the moment your CPU is pushed to its limit? The B860M GAMING PLUS WIFI6E answers with a 12+1+1+1 Duet Rail Power System built on a 6-layer server-grade PCB, combined with Core Boost technology to keep power delivery stable during sustained gaming and heavy workloads. Extended heatsinks and thermal pads rated at 7W/mK work alongside this power design to keep temperatures in check, so your system stays reliable during marathon sessions rather than backing off when you need it most.
Connectivity Built for Speed
Onboard Wi-Fi 6E and 5G LAN give you fast, low-latency networking whether you're gaming online or transferring large files, while the mix of rear USB ports — including USB 5Gbps Type-A, USB 5Gbps Type-C, and USB 10Gbps Type-A — means your peripherals, drives, and accessories all get the bandwidth they need. It's connectivity designed to keep pace with a modern gaming setup, without the compromises of an entry-level board.
Storage and Expansion Without the Bottleneck
With a PCIe 5.0 slot for your graphics card and three M.2 slots — one running at Lightning Gen 5 x4 — the B860M GAMING PLUS WIFI6E is ready for the fastest SSDs and GPUs on the market. M.2 Shield Frozr protects your storage from thermal throttling, and MSI's EZ DIY touches, including the EZ PCIe Clip II and pre-installed I/O shield, make the whole build process noticeably less fiddly.
