Next-Generation Performance, Fully Wireless
Meet the Keychron V5 Ultra 8K, a next-generation 96% wireless custom mechanical keyboard engineered for serious performance. It pairs an ultra-fast 8000 Hz polling rate in wireless mode with up to 660 hours of battery life, multiple layers of acoustic foam and full ZMK customisation — delivering a refined typing experience with premium sound and complete control over every key. The all-new rotary knob puts volume and shortcuts right at your fingertips.
8K Polling Meets True Wireless Freedom
The V5 Ultra 8K runs a high-speed 8000 Hz polling rate in both wired and 2.4 GHz wireless modes, keeping input lag to an absolute minimum for ultra-responsive performance. A powerful ARM core MCU with 1 MB of flash drives the open-source ZMK firmware, while Bluetooth 5.3 lets you connect up to three devices and switch between your computer, phone and tablet on the fly. Latency stays barely noticeable, even in competitive play.
Marathon Battery, Zero Compromise
Don't wait for a full charge — the V5 Ultra 8K runs even while charging, with a continuous battery life of up to 660 hours with the backlight off (or up to 200 hours with RGB at lowest brightness). Based on five hours of daily use, that's roughly four months of creating, working or gaming between charges, so you can rely on it for extended periods without constant top-ups.
Silky-Smooth Silk POM Switches
The V5 Ultra 8K comes with pre-lubed Keychron Silk POM Red switches built for gamers and typists who demand precision and durability. Crafted from high-quality POM housing and stem, these linear switches deliver a smooth, consistent keystroke with a quiet sound signature, rated for up to 50 million presses. Thanks to the hot-swappable PCB, you can drop in almost any 3-pin or 5-pin MX-style switch without soldering.
Built for Premium Sound and Feel
A gasket mount design paired with a PC plate softens acoustic resonance for a quieter, more cushioned typing experience. Inside sit multiple acoustic layers — sound-absorbing foam, EPDM foam, PET films and case foam — tuned for a satisfying sound. Screw-in PCB stabilisers keep the larger keys stable and rattle-free, OSA double-shot PBT keycaps resist oil and fading, and the south-facing RGB LEDs light the board with 22+ presets, Per-key RGB and Mix RGB.
