Lightning-Fast 8000 Hz Wired Performance
The Keychron C1 Pro 8K is a wired TKL (80%) custom mechanical keyboard built for speed. An 8000 Hz polling rate — adjustable from 125 Hz right up to 8000 Hz — delivers faster input registration, near-instant triggering and ultra-low latency, so every keystroke lands with precision. Powered by an Arm Cortex-M4 chip and open-source QMK firmware, it gives gamers and typists across South Africa serious responsiveness with endless room to customise.
Program Everything with QMK, VIA and Launcher
Open-source QMK firmware with VIA support means near-limitless customisation. Using the browser-based Keychron Launcher, you can remap keys, record macros and fine-tune shortcuts on Windows, macOS or Linux — no software to install. Because the firmware is open source, the community can review it for safety, giving you complete confidence and control over your inputs.
A Refined, Acoustically Tuned Typing Experience
The C1 Pro 8K is tuned for sound and feel from the inside out. Layers of sound-absorbing foam, PET film, IXPE film, bottom-case acoustic foam and a silicone bottom pad work together for a satisfying, thocky typing sound and consistent key feel. Pre-lubed Keychron Super switches glide smoothly, plate-mounted stabilisers keep larger keys steady, and OSA-profile double-shot PBT keycaps resist shine and stop the legends fading.
Hot-Swappable and Built to Personalise
Make it truly yours. The hot-swappable PCB accepts almost any 3-pin or 5-pin MX-style switch (Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, Panda and more) with no soldering required. South-facing RGB lighting shines cleanly through from the typist’s angle — even with non-shine-through PBT keycaps — for vivid, even backlighting you can tailor key by key.
Comfortable, All-Day Ergonomics
Designed for long sessions, the C1 Pro 8K offers three adjustable typing angles (4.8°, 8.5° and 10.7°) and curved OSA-profile keycaps that work together to support your wrists. A system toggle plus included Windows and macOS keycaps let you switch seamlessly between platforms and save separate layouts for each.
