The Delock 62620 helps protect connected network equipment against electrical surges transmitted through an Ethernet connection. Supporting CAT6 Gigabit Ethernet at up to 1,000Mbps, it provides reliable network protection without compromising standard data performance. The unit also supports IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt Power over Ethernet at 48V with up to 90W, making it suitable for compatible PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ devices. Inductive galvanic isolation and a tested 6kV common-mode surge rating provide an additional protective barrier between the external network line and the connected equipment. Its compact plastic housing is easy to position near the protected device, while the dedicated screw terminal enables the essential equipotential bonding connection required for safe and effective surge diversion.
