The Synology RackStation RS3621RPxs is a 12-bay 2U rackmount NAS designed to centralise business data, protect critical workloads and support growing storage requirements. Its Intel Xeon D-1531 six-core processor operates at 2.2GHz, with turbo speeds up to 2.7GHz, while 8GB of ECC DDR4 memory helps maintain data integrity and can be expanded to 64GB. Dual redundant power supplies and hot-swappable system fans support service continuity, and twelve SATA drive bays provide flexible HDD or SSD deployment. Four Gigabit Ethernet ports and two PCIe expansion slots enable networking and SSD-cache upgrades. Capacity can grow to 36 bays using two optional expansion units. Powered by Synology DiskStation Manager, the diskless RS3621RPxs brings file sharing, backup, virtualisation, collaboration and surveillance together in one manageable platform.
