The Synology RackStation RS2423RP+II is a powerful 2U 12-bay NAS designed for centralised business storage, backup, file sharing, virtualisation and surveillance. Its AMD Ryzen V1780B quad-core processor, 8GB DDR4 ECC memory and built-in 10GbE connectivity deliver sequential performance of more than 3,500MB/s read and 1,700MB/s write. Twelve hot-swappable SATA drive bays support HDD and SSD configurations, while an RX1223RP expansion unit can increase capacity to 24-bays. Dual hot-swappable 550W power supplies, Synology High Availability and Snapshot Replication help protect uptime and business data, while DSM provides an extensive suite of backup, collaboration, virtualisation and security tools.
