The Synology BC500 is a 5MP outdoor bullet camera that combines detailed video, intelligent detection and streamlined Surveillance Station integration. Its 2880 × 1620 resolution, wide 110° horizontal field of view and multi-exposure HDR deliver clear coverage across challenging lighting conditions. Four high-power infrared LEDs provide night vision up to 30 metres, while IP67 ingress protection supports reliable outdoor operation. Built-in AI distinguishes people and vehicles, detects intrusion, monitors loitering and enables fast searches through recorded footage. Integrated PoE simplifies installation by carrying power and data over one network cable, with optional 12V DC power also supported. A built-in microphone enables audio monitoring, while microSD edge recording helps preserve footage during network interruptions. No separate Surveillance Station device licence is required when used with a compatible Synology recording server.
