The LinkQnet SCDC-3120 is a unidirectional 15m USB Type-C active optical cable designed specifically for high-speed USB data transmission. Supporting USB3.2 Gen 2×1 speeds up to 10Gbps, it provides an extended connection between compatible USB Type-C host and device equipment while retaining backwards compatibility with USB2.0 and USB1.1. Its hybrid copper and OM3 multimode-fibre construction carries high-speed signals over optical fibre while supplying up to 5V 1.5A to the remote device. This design helps resist EMI and reduces electromagnetic radiation, supporting stable operation in electrically demanding environments. Notes
- Connect the Host-labelled end to the host computer or controlling device and the Device-labelled end to the remote USB device
- The cable is unidirectional and will not operate correctly when the Host and Device connections are reversed
- Data-only means that DisplayPort Alt Mode video is not supported; the cable still supplies up to 5V 1.5A to the remote device
- The 5V 1.5A output is not USB Power Delivery and may not be sufficient for devices with higher power requirements
